Redefined Social Media Platform Leads to Triple Revenue

Located on Kangaroo Point, situated on the edge and overlooking the Hawkesbury River in Brooklyn, NSW, Estuary Restaurant is a sanctuary for local seafood and fresh fish from the surrounding waters.

Estuary Restaurant first engaged with Marketing Station to develop and manage their Social Media campaign and also engage in Search Engine Optimisation for the waterfront restaurant. A little further down the line after some great success, both parties are now intertwined in the development and deployment of the new website and have increased exposure across the board.

Action Needed

Estuary Restaurant wanted to increase revenue and bring the casual outdoor Kiosk as well as the beautiful modern Restaurant in front of more customers from Sydney and the Central Coast. They wanted people to see the business from all aspects, in-person and online and wanted to have a more professional website design.

This included an original Social Media campaign that worked, allowed users to find them on Google, through search results and Google My Business (GMB), and to be associated with relevant keywords for the industry associated with restaurants, weddings, and events. Estuary also wanted to have an independent booking system mixed in with their modern site.

Results Achieved

Within the first month, Marketing Station was able to provide a 300% return on investment to Estuary Restaurant. Three years after the initial contact, revenue at Estuary enjoys continued growth and between both parties, an SEO and Social Media campaign has been developed.

A modern website complete with a custom booking system and internal platform for managing bookings has since been created, by converting the previously dated website look and feel to a clean, and contemporary design for customers. Despite restrictions during COVID-19, the restaurant has been so busy that they have had to hire five additional staff members and the restaurant has been booked out for between 2 and 3 weeks in advance.

Estuary Restaurant is a Waterfront Seafood Restaurant located in beautiful Brooklyn, NSW. We offer a Restaurant, Takeaway Kiosk and an Event Room downstairs for weddings and parties. We have hired people for Social Media in the past although they did not achieve the results Marketing Station has delivered for us.

Before Covid 19, our Restaurant tripled its revenue with Marketing Station Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Social Media. During Covid 19 the team worked hard 7 days a week ensuring we kept busy…and thankfully we stayed open and were extremely busy! We used our Kiosk at the front of the Restaurant for Takeaways and Pre-order pickups and boy were we busy as we also have plenty of outdoor areas around us on the waterfront for people to Social distance themselves.

We all learned so much during COVID 19, even the fact that our website booking system needed to change to abide by the rules of how many people per sitting/max capacity etc. In two weeks, Marketing Station delivered us a brilliant new Booking System, they worked nonstop with our restaurant to achieve fantastic results.
